Hotel 626 is a game which you could play off the web which is sponsored by the Dorito's.I got the link from a nice friend who wants to scare me ;-p. Yeah most of the games you play off the web really sucks but hotel 626 is different. Its one of those games which tries (and succeeds) at scaring the player.(im surprised by the quality of the in game visuals which could be described as a weird mix of graphics and cinematics and the superb background music)
THE REVIEW
Well the game basically start after you check into the hotel,(ill recommend that you allow the game to take control of your webcam, because there's a surprise if you do.)
You find yourself awake in your room, in the middle of the night. you feel your hearbeat begin to rise as the surrounding rooms seem to emit a strange presence ..., you a hear strange noises from the corridor so you quicken your pace. as you run, the darkness begin to envelop you.
It is at that moment, your instincts begin to scream for you to run, YOU NEED TO GET OUT!!!
you throw on your shirt...., and the game begins.

Ah, now that you settled down! I shall explain on why I, ADAM, have MIRACULOUSLY FOUND OUT , THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT, OF HUMAN HISTORY!!! (fanfare and drumrolls). ELVES ARE GAY!!!!!

Well as you know, people from long ago usually have very little knowledge about the world. Most of them even think that the world is actually flat and that their kingdom is the world world as they know it! (which is wrong cause the world do exist beyond their borders).
Man of old tell of tales of MONSTERS, DRAGONS and epic battles with mythical creatures!!! I think most of you might be familiar with the term Centaur, Kraken, and the likes due to recent movie exposure! (yeah, you people dont read books which ARENT FAMOUS).
Well, scientists have came along and decipher what all those things are. The Kraken might just be an ordinary giant scuid which incidentally was spotted swimming near the surface at night. Totally freaked out the sailors so they created an image of a terrifying BEAST to explain what they saw.
Dragons got the same treatment whereby they were just most probably a large crocodile
or a reptile of that kind. People say that a myth grow with the number of people talking about it. SO its very possible that Dragons just pop outta nowwhere from the gossips of mankind!
NOW YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT GOSSIP DOES!!! IT CREATES MONSTERS! ;-p
IN any case, lets go to todays agenda, What makes me,ADAM, think that Elves are the Chinese? Easy!
To explain better, here's a brief explanation of what elves are (compliments of wikipedia)
An elf is a creature of Germanic mythology. The elves were originally thought of as a race of minor nature and fertility gods, who are often pictured as youthful-seeming men and women of great beauty living in forests and underground places and caves, or in wells and springs. They have been portrayed to be long-lived or immortal and as beings of magical powers.
From that explanation alone, one might not to be able to say that the Chinese are elves. But HEY lets continue!
Well in the Germany, just say, like 2 thousand years ago, many of them had the same mindset which everyone has at THAT time. So isnt it very possible to say that they met the Chinese by accident and were greatly surprised by how different they look and how advanced they were.
Okay, ill break this down so that you all could understand better. MYTHBUSTER STYLE!
MYTH 1- Elves lives in forests.
Makes sense for the Chinese to seek refuge in the forest if they actually arrive in a foreign country where people might be afraid of them, due to their looks and behaviour. Plus, the Chinese are known to be people who are highly knowledgeable of the benefits of the forest. Chinese traditional medicine is made from natural elements so it would make sense if the Chinese build camps in the forest.
MYTH 2- Elves are pictured as youthful looking man and women of great beauty.
Well the Chinese race(which i am part of *cough cough*). Are a group of people which might have seem weird at that time to the Germans if they ever encountered them. This is as the Chinese features are largely different from the Germans. THe Germans might have felt that they contain a new, never been seen beauty. And as the Chinese people, ARE SHORTER then Caucasians, so i guess it makes them look youthful all the time! ;-p
MYTH 3- They are skilled in combat.
THe Chinese are among the worlds most developed nations at that time. They have the largest battalion of ships in the world and weapons such as the bow and arrow which was the PINNACLE of warfare. Martial arts like KUng fu gave them a high understanding on melee combat. They are greatly dedicated to their art of war and hold honour from victories.
MYTH 4-The clothes they worn was nothing humans are able to craft.
Of cause, its called SILK! made from silk worms. The romans loved the silk soo much that the material as a sign of decedance and immortality. It was long after that when the Chinese actually commercialised the secret ingredient of making silk.
MYTH 5- Elves are magical and have ties with magical beasts like dragons.
This is no surprise as the Chinese was the people who invented gunpowder. The gunpowder was used to make rockets to blow up things and even as weapons. The Chinese has also myths of dragons and other mythical creatures in their culture. It is very possible the German people who were frightened at their "magic" to think that the Chinese control those creatures.
Well thats all the Myths i could think off at the moment, feel free to ask me a myth about elves so that i could proove to you, THAT THEY ARE THE CHINESE!!!! ;-p till then CHOWS!

……….. OKAY OKAY I ADMIT I HAVE SPENT TOO MUCH MONEY since i came back and IM BROKE so only can go out for dinner! ahaha! well WHO CARES!

TODAYS ISSUE WOULD BE, WHAT KINDA HOBBIES DO GIRLS DO????
Yeah yeah i know this sound sexist and all that but just tahanlah a while! ;-p Hear me out! (the further explanations are from a guys perspective so…. take THAT)
Well, im frens with everyone, (or at least i try to be!!) So i got a feel of what people do in Malaysian from all perspective, whether your a guy or girl, ah beng or macha, lala or LULU, english ed, malay ed, chinese ed, tamil ed or whateva! So when you see the world from various perspective's, you would take mental notes of how people behave!
So just a few days back, me and my friends was talking about a topic i had already discussed with my friend Adnin. "What DO girls do with their free time??" THe thing is, many girls complain about their boy friends invest much of his time doing something stupid. By stupid, it usually mean a hobby. Doesnt matter what it is, i realise guys usually have a hobby that they feel strongly about. Dont get me wrong, the girls which i was lepaking with quickly objected on what i just said but ill explain later on what they said. IN ANY CASE, just ask any guy of his passion, and they would probably have one or two at least.
Here's a list of guyish hobbies which i know.
1. Sports (football crazy dudes for example could list down the BIOGRAPHY of the PLAYERS IN the HISTORY OF THEIR FAV TEAM SINCE IT BEGAN)
2. Gamers (dudes who go around playing video games,computer games, console's and arcades thus wasting a lARGE PORTION IN THEIR WALLETS)
3. Collecters (guys who go around collecting stuff, doesnt matter what, trust me, you will be SURPRISED when you know what some guys collect, the weirdest that i know so far is CONDOMS, [YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE MAN! STOP LAUGHING!!! ]. But usually the normal stuff are like anime collectibles and models)
4. Nerds (well nowdays being a nerd aint so bad cause it will benefit you in the long run.., well at least thats what my friend said! By nerd i mean someone who spends most of their time online, NOT JUST CHATTING AND USING FACEBOOK mind you, i mean like really spending a great deal of time learning how to hack, go to forums , auction stuff, you know the works.)
5. Techies-(GUY WHO LITERALLY POUR TONS OF MONEY AWAY TO INVEST in the latest gadget which has no apperent use but just SEEMS COOL)
6. Okay, i can think of a whole lot more but tis is really making me tired writing about it so lets just SKIP this part!!!! heh, ask me personally if you feel like learning more!
SO the point is, most guys really literally LOSE THEIR LIFE for their passions, LIKE HARDCORE you know! And it usually drags on until they DIE!!! Come on, how many uncles do you know that still talk about 'the match of the century' which he saw??? Yeap ladies, boys dont really grow up, they just……… ah….. grow??? heh, Pun intended.
So as i talk about it more with my frens, (we had a good laugh over the guy stereotypes which we know), we suddenly realise, "hey, what DO GIRLS DO WITH THEIR FREE TIME???"
So I ANNOUNCED! that I, ADAM! shall get to the bottom of this and asked my fren right away who was sitting beside me! "what do you girls do when you have free time???" She said, the same thing like you guys do, our hobbies…, to which i called to tell us more.
She gave a GRADE A smug face and just say "SHOPPING". like its some kinda super kick ass hobby!!! At my inquires to tell more, she explained that, hey, YOU GUYS WASTE MONEY ON STUPID STUFF LIKE FOOTBALL and ALL THAT, but you dont get something out of it, we girls SHOP and we get new clothes which we can wear and even COLLECT. WHY NOT??? (all girls on table said yeah)
WELL, theres a very big different between passions and practicality. Girls are used to a practical hobby while guys just blindly follow a passion and get indulged in it, without thinking of the outcome! Girls do have hobbies, im not saying they dont but why dont girls lose their life's to it??? hmmmmmm
yeah yeah i know the whole blog is FREAKING SEXIST, but THATS THE POINT! i want to get to the bottom of this,soTHERE! ;-p

Today I just finished my assignment. Yeah, its really crappy cause seriously, its affecting my mind slowly (getting paranoid, must be some weird exam hormone imbalance)
So here I am again, right now, writing this blog for the benefit of writing something which is of no use to anyone but myself. (you got to admit its pretty interesting so far eh? *wink wink*)
Well i realized that whenever you do something really crappy,(like an assignment maybe?) you tend to let your mind wander around after a while. And thus, today's topic shall be…… changes in life!!!
Well I was having a chat with a friend of mine, and I realized how much freaky stuff had happen in the past few years. Seriously, stuff you taught will NEVER happen had happen. Guess time has a freaky effect on some.

Well , has been some time since I thought about all my friends back home. And weird enough it kinda freak me out, how much had happened since we all left for college. Lols, sorry people for just leaving without partying with you all again , it was sudden! From NOWHERE…, im NOW HERE™.
Seriously, when some people start dating people they never talk to back in the days, it kinda catch you offguard. Sigh, guess im really missing the days where everything was simpler.Well, not that I hate my life now, it's a different kind of good. Love lepaking in college !!!!
In any case, what I meant was just hanging out randomly. Trips to Penang island. Visiting random peoples houses…, watching movie all night long… making spaghetti, going to the pasar malam together. Its kinda sad that those moments will never be again. Some because of myself (confession time, I was really lazy to meet some of you guys whenever I come back!!! Lols, sorry).Sigh, kinda miss the times I slept by the beach and just talk the whole night through…., GOD I miss the beach now…, ugh! DAMN YOU KL WITH YOUR DIRTY STREETS AND BAD FOOD! Sigh…, the sound of the waves becomes your lullaby as the night sky change with the wind…. Water slowly splashing on the sleeping bags off the beach…., we smile, we laugh……. Its just those moments where you know life is really perfect…, not a care in the world eh.

The foolishness of youth. (heh, I sound old again, dang).
IN ANY CASE, Growing up is a funny thing. If you start thinking of what makes you mature or what other people think too much, it makes you immature. The irony. Come on guys, you start smoking and drinking cause you wanna 'fit in' I mean I feel its totally fine to drink and smoke, hell , why not. But doing it to IMPRESS other people, seriously, get some backbone mate. Word from the wise, pretending to be cool…., aint cool.
Change is part of life, but whenever it happens, people cant accept all of it. Humans are habitual animals, change just isn't in their blood most of the time. Maybe its about time we all start appreciating stuff from NOW, right at this moment, no matter how crappy it is(example , assignments) and keep it in out heads. Worrying wont do anyone good. Stop the grumbling and emoing. Cause before you know it, moments like this, will be gone forever. And you will be just left with empty memories.
So here I am again, right now, writing this blog for the benefit of writing something which is of no use to anyone but myself. (you got to admit its pretty interesting so far eh? *wink wink*)
Well i realized that whenever you do something really crappy,(like an assignment maybe?) you tend to let your mind wander around after a while. And thus, today's topic shall be…… changes in life!!!
Well I was having a chat with a friend of mine, and I realized how much freaky stuff had happen in the past few years. Seriously, stuff you taught will NEVER happen had happen. Guess time has a freaky effect on some.

Well , has been some time since I thought about all my friends back home. And weird enough it kinda freak me out, how much had happened since we all left for college. Lols, sorry people for just leaving without partying with you all again , it was sudden! From NOWHERE…, im NOW HERE™.
Seriously, when some people start dating people they never talk to back in the days, it kinda catch you offguard. Sigh, guess im really missing the days where everything was simpler.Well, not that I hate my life now, it's a different kind of good. Love lepaking in college !!!!
In any case, what I meant was just hanging out randomly. Trips to Penang island. Visiting random peoples houses…, watching movie all night long… making spaghetti, going to the pasar malam together. Its kinda sad that those moments will never be again. Some because of myself (confession time, I was really lazy to meet some of you guys whenever I come back!!!
